Medication Assisted Treatment, or MAT, is an evidence-based approach to treatment that combines the use of medications with counseling and behavior therapy to assist individuals experiencing substance use disorders, particularly opioid and alcohol use disorder. Resources below that provide MAT will be listed as a "MAT Provider" which will be highlighted in yellow under the focus areas.
